REGULATION OF INNOVATIONS IN FOREIGN TRADE ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE EEU: THE CUSTOMS ASPECT

Abstract: at the present stage, the development of innovative technologies is an essential condition for increasing the potential of the country and society in various spheres of life. The production and trade of high-tech goods is an area that can successfully cope with such problems as economic downturns, ensure the structural adjustment of the market, and saturate it with competitive products. Currently, active measures are being taken to improve and develop the country’s innovation potential. These measures are reflected in the legislation and are aimed at creating favorable conditions for the implementation of investment and innovation projects, as well as the effective use of imported technologies and equipment. Undoubtedly, such a policy should be considered and rational, only in this case our country will be able to catch up with technologically developed countries and get rid of commodity dependence. An effective customs policy can have a positive impact on the innovative development of the EEU member states. This article analyzes foreign trade in high-tech products and operations with tolling raw materials for the manufacture of high-tech products within the EEU, analyzes the problems associated with the development and addition of the technical regulation system, describes the main shortcomings of customs regulation in the field of trade in innovations within the EEU, and concludes that there is a need for improvement in this area.
