From the point of view of the world economy, small business is an economic category that can accumulate funds, produce goods, provide services, and stimulate employment and trade. Small business is a business sector that determines the country&#8217;s economic growth rate, as well as employment, the structure and quality of the gross national product. Today, small businesses are an important element of growth, both in the national economy and in the global economy as a whole. This category of business is a kind of support for the market economy, which, as an independent and irreplaceable element, creates and supports free competition in the market, promptly responds to changes in market conditions, develops the innovative potential of the economy, and contributes to the stable formation of the tax base.<\/p>\n<p>The article analyzes the main indicators of small business development in Russia in dynamics over the past four years.
