Particular attention is paid to the main directions of youth policy in modern conditions, which, according to the author, are a priority of the youth policy of Russia. The analysis of the formation of social support for the population in the post-Soviet period of Russia is presented. Further studies of youth problems will serve as a continuation of the study of the transition to a new digital model of society development. And also, searching for an answer to those social excesses and risks for youth and society as a whole, caused by large-scale changes and the growth of the use of digital technologies. The study used the following research methods and techniques: analytical, system, statistical analysis, abstract-logical, expert.
