The issues of introducing a financial cost management system are considered in the financial literature, but the step-by-step implementation methodology is not presented in proper detail. In this regard, this article describes a strategic map adapted for companies in the extractive sector. The article also discusses the issues of methodological, personnel and information support of the cost management mechanism.
