Abstract: this article discusses the economic costs in connection with the imposition of sanctions measures against the Russian Federation. The impact of sanctions on the Russian economy in various aspects is considered. The adverse effects of sanctions on the economies of Russia are reflected: in the export trade and the competitiveness of Russian companies on foreign markets, as well as the investment attractiveness of the country as a whole, the prospects for integration of the Russian economy in world national economy in accordance with the established economic and political conditions are highlighted.
