THE ROLE OF MORTAGE AS A FACTOR IN THE QUALITY OF THE LIFE OF THE POPULATION

Abstract: the issue of the quality of life of the population is considered through the prism of mortgage lending. The idea is emphasized that an acceptable volume of consumption of goods and services, guaranteed access to material goods is one of the components that characterize the quality of life. The scientific novelty of this study lies in the development and testing of an effective method of understanding and assessing the quality of life of the population through the prism of the institution of mortgage lending. For scientific research, methods of visualization of quantitative data were used, as well as statistical methods for the analysis of economic phenomena and processes. In particular, in the process of research, the methods of analysis and synthesis, regression analysis, methods of analysis of dynamics found their fruitful application, a statistical assessment was made, etc. The author considers possible indicators of assessing the living standards of the population and analyzes the changes in the portfolios of deposits and loans of individuals. An assessment is given of changes in interest rates of loans granted to individuals depending on loan terms. A decision-making model is proposed on the need to develop measures to stimulate demand for mortgage loans or to stabilize the market for loan products. This article substantiates the relevance of the studied issues, both in Russian and foreign experience.
