Abstract: in this article some aspects of interaction of customs authorities with participants of foreign economic activity, the main problems of their digital interaction are considered. The purpose of this study is to analyze and identify the main problems of the application of most innovations approved by the world customs organization and related to information technologies, such as pre-notification and declaration, electronic declaration and remote release, customs control based on the risk management system, cross-border information exchange in the systems “customs – customs” and “customs – business”, implemented by customs authorities everywhere. It is concluded that it is necessary to improve cooperation in this area and use the experience and best practices in the world community.
