INFLATION AND ANTI-INFLATIONARY POLICIES IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION: THEORY AND PRACTICE

Abstract: the article proposes a systematic analysis of anti-inflationary policies in Russia, taking into account monetary and non-monetary inflation factors, as well as the transformational characteristics of the 1990s: the causes of inflation, factors; features of inflation regulation in the context of the implemented adaptive monetary policy, the origin of inflation and its factors in the conditions of transformation and stabilization of the Russian economy are studied. It is determined that: in the modern world, inflation is one of the most acute and dangerous economic phenomena; over the past four to five decades, the world economy has experienced a marked decline in inflation; inflation features in Russia are inextricably linked with the basic conditions of its economic development, with the content of the state anti-inflationary policy. The article suggests ways to contain inflation, such as: resuming economic growth; lifting existing sanctions; recovery in oil prices to $ 70 per barrel. A clear program is also needed to combat inflation, ensuring an acceptable economic atmosphere, social security in a crisis. Objective: to summarize modern views on inflation and anti-inflation regulation mechanisms, monitor inflation dynamics in Russia over the past decade and formulate proposals to contain it both in the medium term and its forecast value.
