THE ROLE OF SOCIAL DESIGN IN THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE REGION

Abstract: the Russian Federation ranks 49th in the world in terms of human development index, ranking between Oman and Montenegro. This is a very low indicator for a country claiming a key role in the modern world order. The main goal of the social state should be to improve the living standards of the population and the development of the country’s human capital. The formation of human capital is completely dependent on the educational system of the region. The formation of special human capital is entrusted today to the vocational education system, but recently there has been an increased interest of school-age youth in participating in the country’s social and political life. Therefore, the early development of special human capital can be extended from the vocational education system to the secondary general education system by promoting youth social entrepreneurship among schoolchildren. The aim of the study is to identify the influence of the activity of teachers in the region in the field of development and pedagogical support of youth social entrepreneurship on the socio-economic development of the region by the example of the All-Russian competition for teachers and project teams of students “School Design Olympiad”. The study showed the dependence of the quality of life in the region and the activity of teachers on the methodological support of project education and can serve as the basis for comprehensive support for such activities by regional and municipal authorities.
