Abstract: the proposed article is devoted to the system of multiparty cooperation in China, and the problem of place and role of the Communist party of China in the new historical conditions.
The idea of economic reforms originated in the party environment, turning into a kind of political mantra, which is repeated in official speeches and documents. However, along with the expression “building a Communist society” as the main goal of the party’s activities, specific economic and political objectives are set, for example, increasing the GNP or achieving the level of “average prosperity”.
According to Chinese leaders, it is impossible to maintain the dynamics of economic, social and other transformations without using the party as a specific mechanism, the role range of which is quite wide and is associated with maintaining the controllability of processes in all spheres of the country’s life. The CCP remains a “party-state”. The central and party authorities are inseparable.
The system of multi-party cooperation in China differs from the one-party system practiced in some socialist countries, and is also radically different from the multi-party or two-party system in some capitalist countries. It has its own characteristics. The purpose of the article is to study the system of multi-party cooperation in China during the period of liberal economic reforms, which, at first glance, should deny centralization, ideologization, and even an authoritarian political model.
Illuminating the problems of relationship and interaction in the framework of “party – state – society” we will get to some parts of the political mechanism, political situation, and discussions on promising directions of development of political system of China. The author does not pay attention to the issues of ideological identification of the CPC, peculiarities of the internal party struggle, the correlation of ideological and civilizational principles, etc. – problems that are somehow related to the topic of the publication, but require a separate concentrated consideration.
