RESEARCH ON EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT IN THE LABOUR ACTIVITY

Abstract: the article is devoted to the problem of studying the involvement of employees in labor activity, as the quality of all processes in the organization depends on the involvement of employees in corporate life. The involvement of employees is one of the main components that ensure the quality of processes and seems to be the most important condition for the effective functioning of organizations of various types of activities. The author reveals the characteristic of employee involvement, whose high degree involvement can be considered as one of the important factors of the organization’s economic growth, an indicator of the success of its activities, which determines its competitiveness. The article also examines the diagnostics of the attitude of personnel to their responsibilities and the company as a whole, identifies the effects of high employee involvement into the company’s activities, and examines the methods used to study staff involvement in Russia and in the world. The study of employee involvement is a complex process aimed at collecting and processing a range of indicators. Russian and foreign experience shows that a high degree of staff involvement allows the organization to achieve high efficiency and effectiveness. The problem of assessing staff involvement is that this indicator is influenced by many factors of the external and internal environment of the organization, relations with the leader and colleagues, team interaction, as well as factors related to the organization of labor. The article also discusses the role of social networks in the study of employee involvement as a tool for studying employee engagement in the digital age.
