PROBLEMS OF THE MODERN YOUNG FAMILY: SOCIAL TRANSFORMATIONS

Abstract: one of the most pressing social problems, which has not lost interest in Russian and foreign scientific thought for several decades, and not only in the sociological community, but also in psychology, philosophy, and social anthropology, is the strength of the young cell of society, the transformation of the portrait of a young family in modern Russian society.

A young family is the foundation of the nation’s future in any country, and the level and quality of life of many generations depends on its social well-being. A wide range of problems that can be correlated with the social problems of the world community and with the problems of other socially vulnerable categories, but there are also a number of specific social difficulties caused by the Russian mentality, the existing norms of upbringing in the Russian family, lifestyle, socio-economic structure, medical and social indicators, distinguish the modern young Russian family.

The authors consistently describe the existing social problems of a young family, analyzing the results of sociological research in recent years, applying secondary data analysis, citing existing statistics, as well as representing the results of their own theoretical, methodological and practical research.

The article presents an aspect of the specifics of the situation of a young family with its educational potential and conditions for self-realization of a young family in the context of the formation of Russian civil society and the social state. Social policy in the Russian Federation adheres to the trend of supporting young families, promoting responsible parenthood, protecting motherhood and childhood, while not only society should provide an opportunity for a young family to self-actualize, but also members of a young family should strive to fully realize their potential to improve the level and quality of their lives.
