Abstract: modern conditions of constantly changing external environment, in which any economic entity operates, are characterized by the appearance of new requests and dynamic changes in the position of customers and consumers of goods and services, the emergence of new opportunities for entrepreneurship, the development of information technologies, as well as the changing role of the workforce of organizations. All this has led to an increase in the role and importance of the use of various technologies in the organization’s personnel management. Among the numerous technologies of personnel management in recent years, a special role has been played by social technologies that contribute to improving the efficiency of the use of personnel in modern organizations. Insufficient knowledge of social technologies in the field of management activities of modern organizations has made it necessary to study it.
The article defines the categories «technology of personnel management», «social technologies», «efficiency of social technologies», considers the essence and main components of social technologies in the organization’s personnel management, their significance for improving the efficiency of the organization’s personnel use. According to the results of the research, it is proved that the use of social technologies in the personnel management of a modern organization is one of the most important ways to increase the efficiency of personnel use and increase its productivity.
