REALITIES AND PERSPECTIVES OF INTERNET COMMERCE

Abstract: the article deals with important modern and relevant aspects of e-commerce. E-commerce is the trade of goods and services using the Internet. E-commerce is based on technologies such as Mobile Commerce, electronic money transfer, delivery chain management, Internet marketing, online transaction processing, electronic data exchange, inventory management systems and automated data collection systems, etc. The number of Internet users has increased dramatically over the past few years, and the purchasing power of the population has increased, which has led to an increase in the popularity of online commerce.

The article presents a classification of the types of business relationships of participants in the purchase and sale process. Possible business models are highlighted. The paper highlights the advantages and disadvantages of online trading, both for the buyer and the seller. It is necessary to analyze e-commerce model’s functionality – how revenue is generated or how a transaction occurs between a buyer and a seller. This assessment allows to determine the concept of building an e-business, taking into account the company’s commercial task. The process of creating e-commerce is analyzed. The processes that contribute to the construction of effective online trading are studied. A tool for analyzing the viability of ideas offered to users is presented. The article reveals the positive aspects that contribute to the solution of the company’s commercial tasks, as well as assesses the possible negative consequences of running a virtual business. This type of assessment allows to minimize and anticipate possible risks in the process of transactions through electronic transactions.
