ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY OF USING GEOTHERMAL ENERGY IN MODERN BUILDING

Abstract: energy saving in Russia, despite the intensification of work in this direction in the last decade, is actually still in its infancy. A lot of reasons contribute to this delay in environmental development, the main of them: the lack of state support for environmental projects and the lack of awareness of the population about the concept of “green construction”. Russians will not use technologies that are ten times more expensive than the usual ones, except as an experiment. So it turns out that many people find it easier to pay little money for a familiar technology than to pay a huge amount for a “green” innovation, which even saves money and natural resources during operation.

About 30 percent of the extracted resources are used for energy supply of buildings. The lion’s share is spent on heating and cooling the building. At the moment, there are many technologies that allow to build houses not only with zero energy, but also plus energy, which in addition to full autonomy, can generate electricity for the city.

Geothermal installation allows making the house more autonomous. The article deals with geothermal energy and the technology of its application in the heating system.
