Abstract: in this article, the author considers the problems of restructuring rural life in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). As you know, in Russia, social and economic relations in the countryside very often determined the vectors of development of the country for many years and changes in it radically reshaped the political, economic and spiritual sphere of the entire society. Now, at the time when the Russian Federation is at a crossroads related to the modernization of the economy, constitutional changes, and overcoming the consequences of the global pandemic, it is necessary to pay serious and close attention to rural life: reforms in it will necessarily affect the existence of the entire region. The author is sure that the period has come when the village can not be treated only as a financially untenable and economically inefficient prefix to the city – the village, the hamlet, nasleg are the cradle of the entire ethnic group, requiring respect and decent attitude. It still preserves both human relationships in society, mutual support, cooperation, healthy competition, and environmentally friendly and nature-saving economic forms of joint dormitories. Positive changes in the village will have a positive impact not only in the area of uninterrupted and necessary food supply to the citizens of the region, but also will become engines in the reconstruction of the socio-psychological and spiritual and moral life of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The author suggests starting to act today, because tomorrow it may already be too late, as it often happened in the XX century in our country.
