Abstract: analysis of the current structure of child disability in Russia, factors influencing its formation and their regional characteristics. The statistical analysis of the dynamics of the number and structure of children’s disability and factors affecting it, both at the national and regional levels, is carried out. The main factors influencing the growth of the number of disabled children in the country and its regions against the background of a general decline in disability are identified. The priority issues of children’s disability are its registration and prevention. The results of the study can be used to analyze the structure and dynamics of disability and related socio-economic problems, as well as to predict the development of the corresponding infrastructure. The conclusion is made that the new content of the activities of existing public services for the rehabilitation of children with disabilities may be the result address their needs, what should contribute to the emergence of a market for rehabilitation products and services, which determines the supply and demand for them, further development and rehabilitation social and environmental infrastructure, improving the training of specialists in methods of rehabilitation and expert diagnostics.
