Abstract: the study is devoted to one of the most urgent problems of modern society – Internet communications. The article considers Instagram as a channel of advertising communication, and describes the main tools and technologies used to promote products and services through this social network. The authors show the advantages of advertising communications through social networks over traditional advertising. The publication analyzes the opportunities offered by the social network Instagram for advertising messages.
