Absrtact: the article describes the grounding – basic – principles, which define the qualitative level of all processes of bank activities regulation. In the context of risk-oriented differentiated regulation the author suggests the complex of basic principles: systemic principle, the principle of self-organization, principle of risk-orientation, regulation differentiation principle, responsibility principle, principle of trust, efficiency principle. The specific features of principle realization in the activity of Bank of Russia, banks and bank clients are also justified and revealed.
