Abstract: the article describes the method of assessing the efficiency of capital investments in the construction and reconstruction of roads. Criteria for assessing intra-transport, non-transport and socio-economic effects resulting from capital investments in transport infrastructure facilities are shown. A specific example shows how to estimate and calculate the aggregate economic indicators by group and by project as a whole. This shows the possibility of using a rather difficult methodology and its effectiveness as a scientific tool of integrated assessment for solving applications in road construction. And the use of the methodology, combined with dynamic valuation methods based on cash flow analysis, can significantly improve the scientific validity of management decisions and the quality of investment projects for transport infrastructure development.
