Abstract: well-designed logistics reflects the development of society, the country’s economy and scientific and technical progress. Abroad, the development of logistics is very important, introducing new technologies into the supply chain that help reduce costs and satisfy consumers. In Russia, the main focus has always been on warehouse logistics, which has led to the creation of huge logistics complexes and, consequently, lagging behind in logistics development. The Russian economy is going through a difficult period and building a competent innovative logistics system will be one of the ways out of the current economic situation. In the modern world, logistics plays an important role in the economic activity of enterprises. Most companies are not competitive due to an uncertain external environment, shortening the life cycle of their production process. In order to be competitive, it is necessary to respond quickly to external changes and be flexible, constantly improving, introducing innovations.
