Abstract: the activities of any commercial organization are associated with numerous risks. As a rule, this is due to the fact that the organization assumes risk in order to achieve its goals. Financial organizations, in particular, credit organizations, are most exposed to risk due to the specifics of their activities. Risk management, which is based on its analysis, is the basis for the successful operation of each credit institution. The dependence of financial results and performance of a credit institution on the level of risks increases the role of their analysis.
The relevance of the study of risk analysis of credit institutions has increased due to the pandemic of the COVID-19 coronavirus, which caused a global economic crisis. The pandemic crisis affected all areas of the Russian economy, including the banking sector, increasing the level of all types of risk for credit institutions. Therefore, the study of the methods of risk analysis of credit institutions is becoming more and more relevant in modern conditions.
The article considers the risks of credit organizations, presents the main characteristics of bank risk, their main types, and presents methods and methodology used in the analysis of risks of credit organizations by their main types.
