Abstract: Russia is one of the leaders in the modern industrial world of petrochemicals. The Republic of Tatarstan is one of the most important centers of the chemical and petrochemical industry in Russia. They are home to major chemical and petrochemical companies in the country and region. At the moment, the economy of the Republic ranks fifth in the economy among the subjects of the Russian Federation in terms of gross regional product. The volume of GRP of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2019 amounted to 2 trillion. 552.5 billion rubles, with a growth rate of 101% in comparable prices to the level of 2018 [5].
For the period up to 2030, Tatarstan has set the main strategic goals – improving the ability of RT’s oil production complexes to compete, and establishing production volumes, quality and assortment of chemical and petrochemical products to meet the combined demand of Russian and world-class markets. Innovative development of the petrochemical industry is not directly dependent on the characteristics of the sector in which a particular enterprise operates, as well as on the trends laid down by the research and innovation activities of leading companies in this sector.
Innovations in the field of optimization and development of its own transport infrastructure innovative development of existing capacities introduction of the latest technologies for producing monomer compounds. One of the important elements of the strategy is the rapid growth rate of oil production. Undoubtedly, the expected growth rate will have a very serious impact on the economy of the entire Republic and its budget. According to current exchange prices, about 400 billion rubles are worth 10 million tons of oil. And most importantly, the investment potential of petrochemical and oil-producing enterprises in the Republic of Tatarstan exceeds the existing level, and work on its disclosure continues to this day.
