THE ROLE OF STUDENT SCIENCE IN THE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF BACHELORS IN SOCIAL WORK

Abstract: the Russian education system faces a number of tasks: to prepare a highly educated person who should be able to independently acquire the necessary knowledge, skillfully apply it in practice to solve various social and economic problems; flexibly adapt to situations that are constantly changing; see difficulties and find ways to rationally overcome them.

The formation of student science at the university can be considered as one of the leading goals of modern education. According to the existing tradition of classical university education, the scientific basis of the educational process is the research work of teachers and students. In the professional training of a bachelor in social work, the research culture plays an essential role. It involves the development by students of the methodology of sociological, psychological, pedagogical, economic research, which makes it possible to substantiate and provide in practice integrative support in solving the problems of their clients, resolving various difficult life situations. A competent specialist is distinguished by the ability to choose one of the many solutions, the most optimal and correct in a given situation, i.e. have critical thinking. Constant updating of knowledge, obtaining and processing of new information necessary for obtaining a successful result of one’s work, providing professional assistance to clients, overcoming crisis situations at this time leads to competence. Professional training of students should be based on the unity of teaching technologies, implemented in classroom conditions, and technologies that can be implemented only in the conditions of existing social institutions. The process of forming a research culture among students of the social faculty is considered as a process based on specially organized and systematically carried out research activities within the framework of academic and extracurricular time.
