PSYCHOLOGICAL APPROPRIATION OF TOP MANAGERS AT THE WORKPLACE

Abstract: mobbing (psychological harassment) – a recurring (once a week for six months or more) psychological negative impact of the subject (mobber) on the object (victim). Types of mobbing: horizontal and vertical in the sphere of communication of people, status in society, in production relations (encroachment on the possibility of self-expression, restrictions on social contacts, influence on social status, quality of work, damage to health). Types of mobbers: mobbers with psychoneurological disorders, with manic disorders, with disorders of the nervous system, disorders of a sexual nature, with obsessions, under the influence of psychoactive substances, aggressive individuals.

Interrogation of heads of budgetary organizations showed that top managers are exposed to psychological harassment in the workplace (negative statements, criticism, dissemination of gossip, unfair treatment, not delegation of authority, discrimination, undermining reputation, insults). Reaction to mobbing: the desire to fight, the desire to get away from the struggle, psychosomatic diseases, detachment, absent-mindedness, shame for oneself, doubts about their professionalism. More than 50% of respondents faced mobbing in the middle of their careers. From the direction of the leadership of the mobbing, men and women were exposed, from the colleagues only men. “Mobbers” are both women and men, but in 60% of cases, mobbers are women. The respondents named the reasons for mobbing – the characteristics of the nature of the “aggressor”; independence, competence of the employee, non-participation in internal intrigues; another object of attacks, the “aggressor” is guided by the team from above, there was an event that was used.
