MODERN ANTI-CORRUPTION POLICY IN THE CUSTOMS AUTHORITIES OF THE EAEU PARTICIPANTS

Abstract: the article shows the importance of building a management system that is able to prevent the possibility of evading liability of government officials and business representatives from fulfilling legal obligations in the field of foreign economic activity. Based on the provision that in each particular state the main element of the fight against corruption is the state anti-corruption policy, the anti-corruption activities of the customs authorities are analyzed. The idea that anti-corruption work in customs bodies as well as in other state bodies implies the application of organizational, managerial, legal, social measures and should be systemic in nature, both at the state and international levels, is substantiated consistently. The thesis is formulated that the lack of understanding of the complexity of the problem of the fight against corruption creates many incorrect approaches to its solution.

Based on the analysis of the Corruption Perception Index, indicators of the level of corruption for each EAEU member state are presented. The results of the work of the customs services of the EAEU countries in the field of combating corruption for 2018-2019 are presented. The main problems and directions of improving anti-corruption activities within the EAEU are identified. The necessity of a unified anti-corruption policy within the framework of the EAEU is substantiated to accelerate the pace of development and further successful integration into the global economic space.
